Judy Dueck has proudly called Maple Ridge home since 1976. She and her husband have built their lives in this community, raising two daughters and now enjoying time with their two grandchildren.
For 29 years, Judy has had the privilege of serving her community as an elected official, 20 years as a City Councillor and 9 years as a School Trustee, including terms as vice-chair and chair. Throughout her public service, she has earned a reputation for thoughtful leadership, sound decision-making, and putting residents’ interests first.
Before joining School District No. 42, Judy owned and operated a successful Health & Safety consulting business for many years. She later brought that experience to the school district, where she served as Manager of Health, Safety & Wellness until her retirement.
Her background has allowed her to develop strong leadership and interpersonal skills that have served her well as an elected official for our community. She has a proven track record of being approachable and well-informed, consistently maintaining a high level of integrity.
After 29 years of public service, she earned the compliment of being known as “The Voice of Reason.”
I made the decision to run again because of my passion for serving the community and local politics as well as being encouraged by many in the community, my friends, and family.
I care deeply about the future of Maple Ridge. As our community continues to grow, we have an opportunity to shape a city that is safe, affordable, welcoming, and vibrant for generations to come. I will continue to listen, work hard, and make thoughtful decisions guided by integrity, common sense, and the voices of our community.
Maple Ridge is at a turning point. As our community continues to grow, the choices we make today will define our future. Together, we can build a city that remains safe, affordable, well-planned, and welcoming for generations to come.
On October 17, 2026, vote to re-elect Judy Dueck for Maple Ridge City Council.

Affordability will be my top priority.
We are living through challenging economic times, and City Hall must do its part to keep costs down and deliver better value for taxpayers.
Safe communities don't happen by accident. I support our RCMP, Fire and Bylaws Department.
I will continue to support the investments needed to ensure Maple Ridge remains a safe place to live, work, and raise a family.
Strong local businesses build a strong community.
I support policies that encourage investment, create local jobs, and broaden our tax base to help reduce the burden on residential taxpayers.
I am committed to making decisions based on evidence, meaningful community input, and what is in the best long-term interests of Maple Ridge.
I will continue to listen, work hard, and make thoughtful decisions guided by integrity, common sense, and the voices of our community.
Customer service will continue to be another priority, the city must offer excellent service, deliver on its commitments consistently and on time and be open to investment and innovation so we can reduce on current dependency on residential taxes.
Prioritize responsible growth through thoughtful land use, infrastructure improvements, parks and recreation, and the protection of our natural spaces to ensure Maple Ridge remains a great place to live for generations to come.
